WHAT IS "AN INTERIOR PORTRAIT"?

This is a mirror work that reflects the surroundings it was created for. After reading the wonderful novella, Mr Gwyn, by Alessandro Baricco, I invented the term: “interior portrait”.

C'est une œuvre miroir qui reflète l'environnement pour lequel elle a été conçue. C'est après avoir lu ce superbe ouvrage Mr Gwyn d'Alessandro Baricco que j'ai inventé ce terme de portrait d'intérieur.
